Infinitive Host: a Jaipur-based Indian host with four VPS lines and GPU servers
Infinitive Host is the Indian company INFINITIVE HOST TECHNOLOGIES PVT. LTD. Its office is in Jaipur, Rajasthan, in the Elements Mall building, and a second address is listed in Cheyenne, Wyoming, USA. According to the site, Kuldeep Negi founded the company in 2017 and it now has more than 6,000 clients. The host says it is ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified. Support works around the clock in English, via live chat and an Indian phone number; for harder cases they offer a call in MS Teams. The contract is governed by Indian law, and disputes are handled in Jaipur.
Infinitive Host sets its prices in Indian rupees. A foreign visitor sees them in dollars, converted at the site's own rate and rounded to a whole dollar, and in the billing area you can choose rupees or dollars. So the dollar figure on the storefront is a guide rather than a fixed price: the total in the cart may differ by a few percent.
Four VPS lines and how they differ
The VPS offer is split into four storefronts, and configurations that look the same carry noticeably different prices.
- Linux Cloud VPS are cloud servers on KVM with 2 to 6 Gbps ports and a traffic allowance of several terabytes. The entry plan with one core, 2 GB of RAM and 50 GB SSD costs about 29 dollars.
- Unmanaged Linux VPS cover the same jobs without administration from the host: a 100 Mbps port, SSD from 20 GB, root access. This is the cheapest line, roughly a third of the cloud price for comparable cores and memory.
- Managed Linux VPS copy the unmanaged plans in cores, memory and disk but cost more: about one and a half times as much on the entry plan, with a smaller premium on the larger ones. For that the host handles monitoring, site migration and help with setup.
- Windows Cloud VPS come with Windows Server 2016 or 2019 and RDP access, from 4 cores and 8 GB of RAM, with unmetered traffic.
If you run Linux yourself, the cloud line pays off only when you need a fast port or more disk. An unmanaged plan is enough for a website or a bot with moderate traffic. The unmanaged page has a caveat: its description mentions both OpenVZ and KVM, so before ordering ask which technology your server will use. Docker and a custom kernel work properly only on KVM.
The Windows plans have a discrepancy too. The plan cards list ports from 200 to 600 Mbps, while the text on the same page says a 100 Mbps network. Whether the Windows licence is included in the price is not stated. Other options are collected in the Windows VPS list.
Where the servers are
The host talks about more than 11 data centers: New York, Los Angeles, Montreal, India, Singapore, the UAE, Brazil and several European countries. But these cities mostly refer to dedicated and GPU servers. For VPS the site only says "USA, Europe, Asia-Pacific", and the Windows VPS page also adds Japan and Sydney, which do not appear in the other lists. If latency to your audience matters, ask support which city your VPS will be in and request a test IP before paying. Indian locations from other hosts are in the VPS in India list. For an audience in Europe India is noticeably farther away than European locations.
Dedicated servers and graphics cards
Dedicated servers are offered in eight regions. The cheapest are the German ones: 4 cores and 32 GB of RAM cost about 70 dollars, while American and Indian servers of a similar class cost several times more. Similar offers can be compared in the dedicated servers in Germany list.
For neural network workloads there are two options. GPU Cloud in India rents virtual machines with NVIDIA L4, L40S, A40, A100 and H100 cards, up to eight H100 in one machine. Dedicated GPU servers are located in France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK and the USA. The card list there is different: from GTX 1660 and V100 to RTX PRO 6000 and H100. The country list is GPU servers in India.
Payment, refunds and launch
The payment page lists bank cards, bank transfer to the Indian ICICI Bank (via RTGS and NEFT) and e-wallets. It does not say which wallets: you are asked to check through billing@infinitivehost.com.
Refunds are the main contradiction with this host. The plan pages promise a 100% refund within 30 days in large print. The terms of use, however, say that all sales are final and no money is returned after purchase. Before your first payment, ask support in writing which services the 30-day refund covers, and keep the answer. Uptime is promised at 99.9%, but dedicated servers get no compensation for downtime.
A server starts right after the order is verified, and site migration is free. Unmanaged VPS get automatic snapshots for a week plus an on-demand snapshot. DDoS protection is also declared: traffic is monitored and routed to filtering during an attack. The rules prohibit spam, phishing and storing files taken from other websites. Bulk email must comply with the US CAN-SPAM Act. Nothing is said about IPv6 or port 25.
Who it suits and what to check
Infinitive Host makes sense for projects with an audience in India and Asia, for anyone who needs an A100 or H100 class card for a month, and for those who want a low-cost unmanaged Linux VPS with English-speaking support. If the exact server city and clear refund terms matter to you, check everything with support first.
- Find out the data center city for your VPS and request a test IP.
- Get written confirmation of the 30-day refund terms.
- Compare the price in the cart, not the dollar figure on the storefront: the base currency is the rupee.
- Check the virtualization of the unmanaged plan if you need Docker.
- For Windows, ask about the licence and the real port speed.
