OwnWebServers is a US hosting provider. Under the terms of service the contract is with Own Web Servers, LLC (one clause also mentions Premier Web Group, LLC), the website footer says © OwnWebServers Infrastructure Ltd., and the address is in Rockaway, New Jersey. The company has been operating since 2013. Support works around the clock via tickets, chat and phone, in English. The website has a price switch between US dollars and Indian rupees, and the payment methods include the Indian UPI system, so a noticeable share of customers apparently comes from India.

Data centres: four locations in the USA

Four locations are live: two in Secaucus (New Jersey, EWR1 and EWR2), one in West Palm Beach (Florida) and one in Los Angeles. For each the website gives the address, floor space, power and cooling; the Florida site is described as Tier IV and hurricane resistant. Dallas, Amsterdam, Dubai, Mumbai and Singapore are marked «soon». There is a discrepancy: the company history on the About page talks about starting in Ashburn and expanding to Frankfurt, Singapore and Tokyo in 2017, while the data centre page does not list these locations. Secaucus is next to New York, so the east coast suits an audience in the USA and Europe, while Los Angeles suits the west coast and Asia. Other US locations are collected in the VPS in the USA list.

Linux VPS: a lot of resources for little money

The main line is Linux VPS from VPS-I to VPS-XII on KVM with NVMe and unmetered traffic. Prices are among the lowest on the market: the entry plan with one core and 2 GB of memory costs about 5 dollars, VPS-II with two cores and 4 GB about 9, and the top plan with 22 cores and 64 GB about 80 dollars. A gigabyte of memory costs from 2.5 dollars on the small plans to 1.25 on the large ones. The processors are just called Intel Xeon, without a model, and the port speed and number of IPv4 addresses are not given on the plan cards. Whether the cores are dedicated is not stated either, so test the server first if you expect a constant CPU load. The available systems are Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, CentOS and SUSE. Annual billing gives a 10% discount, two years 15%.

Dedicated Cloud Server plans are sold separately: from 8 to 32 cores and from 16 to 128 GB of memory with NVMe, for roughly 29 to 129 dollars. Despite the name, these are cloud servers with «dynamic» cores, not dedicated machines.

Windows VPS, Forex and GPU

Windows 10 VPS and Windows 11 VPS run on Hyper-V and cost the same: from about 19 dollars for two cores and 2 GB to 129 dollars for 14 cores and 48 GB. The smaller plans have a monthly traffic quota of 6 to 25 TB, the two largest are unmetered. Keep in mind that Microsoft ended support for Windows 10 in October 2025, so Windows 11 is the logical choice for a new project. GPU VPS start with a plan at about 45 dollars where the card is not named, only «NVIDIA GPU (2GB VRAM)», and go up to the RTX Pro 4000. The dedicated GPU servers carry RTX A5000, A6000, 3090, 4090, 5090 and other cards on Xeon E5 v2/v4 or older-generation EPYC processors. Many of them are sold only with billing from a quarter. Dedicated servers are mostly on Intel Xeon E5 v3/v4, AMD EPYC 7001/7002 and Ryzen, from about 105 dollars a month. There is also shared hosting with cPanel or with Plesk for Windows, billed only annually at about 36 dollars; the cPanel plan advertises free backups.

Payment, refunds and restrictions

Prices are in US dollars. The store footer lists PayPal, Stripe, American Express and UPI. Setup is free and a VPS is created within a few minutes. The VPS cards state a 99.99% SLA.

Under the terms of service, shared, business and reseller hosting have a 30-day money-back period, other services 14 days. After that, money for a paid period is not refunded. Dedicated servers have a minimum term of 5 months, with a 199-dollar fee for early termination. Each verified spam complaint against an account costs at least 300 dollars, so this provider is not suitable for bulk mailing.

Who it suits and what to check

OwnWebServers suits those who need a lot of memory and disk on a Linux VPS in the USA for little money, as well as inexpensive Windows servers on the east coast.

• Check in the order form which locations are actually available.
• Test the CPU and disk within the first 14 days, while the refund applies.
• For a dedicated server, keep the 5-month minimum term in mind.
• Ask support about the port speed and the number of IPv4 addresses.
